tube notcher was used for some, but I used a pipemaster, and my plasma cutter for most of them.....

No reason for it.......just wait. There will be enough gussets and triangulation, there is no need for it.

This is not a debate on tubing as i already stated. Start a tube debate thread or search the millions already out there.

Wasnt being snippy. Just stating its not a tube debate, I already mentioned the material Im using, and said your off topic.....

Sorry you took it that way.

I should have said, "Foo, theres no need for DOM!"

Really, its personal preference from the research I have done. Also, I measured out about 225 ft of tubing going into my cage. I dont have the money to buy that much DOM!!!

Nice work so far.. once my life settles back down a lil (wifey just had a baby girl), I plan on reworking my cage in my XJ and TRuggy(have to add 3rd seat). I have used DOM in both of my rigs, and it is definately stupid pricey, and as long as there is enough triangulation and gussets it shouldnt make a difference.

BTW i got pipe masters, and a JD2 nothmaster for christmas, and have played with a few notches, and it is bad *** and a lot easier using notcher, instead of pipe masters.

i have a pipenotcher I use for my straight notches, but for me, I have found I am more accurate with the pipe master and my plasma cutter on compound notches.

Congrats on the new baby!
