Default How long quik disconects with 5" lift.

Getting ready to make a set of quik disconnects for the sway bar. I have almost 5" lift in front and need to know how much longer than stock they need to be. Do I just level the swaybar with the XJ on the ground and measure the distance?

I can't measure right now but i would say 5" longer than stock. You could also do it like you said. Level the sway bar and measure

I would just make them 5" longer than stock and be done with it.

That's not an option. XJ will be driven on the highways some with family.

That's what I was thinking. I measured an extra 5" just looked very long.

make the actual swap bar parrellel with the unibody rail and it will work great. I have seen people ram them trough the inner fender before. And if they are to long or to short the break easy.
