homemade transfercase drop

Default homemade transfercase drop

how could i do a 1 in. drop out of 1x1 square tubing?

You mark the relation of the bolts to the tubing , drill the holes and mount them between the frame and the tc. Make sure the tubbing is a heavy enough gauge.

no u will need to get the stud/bolts out of the frame and use longer ones.

Yeah they both screw in and out but you will have a harder time removing the stud. Try a pipe wrench and some heat, the double nut method has never worked for me. if that doesnt work, use a big ez out and heat.

Don't replace the studs, get new longer bolts

Just drill out so round stock of aluminum.
