Anyone using the new Miller autoset mig?
I'm lookin at getting the new Miller 180 with the auto set feature. I was talking with a rep in the area and he explained to me how it works. looks pretty amazing. just don't wanna put done 900 bones for junk

we have a couple of them in the shop, they work fairly decent from my experience,but i seem to get better welds from a 220v welder. But for your purpose i think it'd be a great little welder, my advice dont trust that auto set feature 100% of the time. I've had times where it didnt pick the best parameters

I've got a 140 w/ autoset. Its' aight I guess. For a beginner, it's a good place to start. I've found that it's not quite exact for me, but it's right in the neighborhood if you will.

yah... i am up in the air right now on it.... I need torches.... mig.... want a stick....and could use a tig... thats only like 4000.. on a college income... o wait i have no income.. urggh college sucks.. i talked to my local rep today. i think i am going with the 180 miller mig... hobart stickmate and victor torches converted to propane. about $1500
