And only place your finger on the trigger when your ready to fire. I believe the mind in conjuction with the finger is the best safty. I know we have all seen many "mouth breathers" that are just not smart and they own weapons.

If only! Dixie, I'm just saying some guns don't have safeties, and I personally don't load any of my weapons until I'm ready to fire. The exception to this is a Personal Defense Weapon. My .45 and your console-mounted Glock are there for quick response. Rifles or shotguns mounted on a rack don't need to be ready to fire at a moment's notice. That's just my opinion, of course.

I love where this conversation's going, lol.... I have a holster mounted to the rigid plastic on the left side of the driver's seat cushion. Since I'm a lefty, it's an easy slide of the hand to pull in case of a Jeep-jacking. All movement concealed by the driver's door. God willing I'll never have to test.
Pics please?

Haha mirrors.... ugh. Previous owner of my Xj apparently took the passenger mirror off at some point. I went to remove it one day to do something, got about half way into it and saw the mess of tape, zip ties, glue, mighty putty, you name it back there, put it all back together and it's been like that since. I don't even like adjusting that mirror because I'm afraid it's just going to fall off one day and I don't want to deal with it haha. Bad enough the passenger door fell off once already.
