That's awesome I'd put one on the passenger side to match it up. An then maybe put a hood scoop on backwards for the elements. Saw AutoZone had some if Idk.

Nice idea. Looks about half as bad as I was expecting when I read the description, lol. There are a lot of ideas here that while I wouldn't use on my DD (try to keep it looking good) are rather creative and economical!

I'm going to try to pretty em up at some point, but its not high up on priority lol. I beat the snot out of it wheeling whenever I can, and it serves semi-regular dd use. And this works twofold, lower underhood temps, and external defroster for those frosty mornings lol

Heres my home brew. My tumbler went out. An im to cheap to buy a new one and have a lock smith pop the old one out. So i did the ol push button.
I took the ignition module and turned it so the acc was on so no need for a key since mine wouldnt turn anyhow. Then i put a on off switch in front of the module so you could remove power from it. Then i took the wires for ignition, starter, and all that and ran then to a push button So flip the switch push the button. Only thing is i took my heating element out of my cig lighter drilled a hole in it and then put the push button through it securing it with the nut they give you. Then i took the heating pad out of my actual lighter its self and made it so the lighter fits over the button. Noone knows the buttons there and i can scare people by starting my jeep by pushing the cig lighter in. I can post more pictures and detail later if needed

I mounted an inverter/compressor rack in the back. Made the mount out of some angle iron I had and bought the 3 gallon compressor at a garage sale. The compressor is held into the rack by a ratchet strap so you can remove it if you have to. Threw a 15 foot extension cord in the back as well so you can still have the compressor plugged into the inverter and walk all the way around your rig. The inverter is 1000 watts which is plenty for what I wanted it for.
