fine looking rack my friend. i used conduit as well. its probably easier getting the pre bent pieces. i used a pipe bender and since i have no experience bending pipes not all of my 90s were perfect 90s so theres a small difference in the width between the top and bottom frame pieces.
and since mines galvanized i havent welded anything. and that would make it much easier for attaching my vertical pieces.

but you got a deal for around 2 bucks for the 90s. around here they're about 4 bucks for 3/8s

anyway Great job!

Awesome build man. I really like it. I plan on building one myself and I believe you just helped me make my decision on how to build one. Only thing is my WJ doesn't have the gutters to mount to and my WJ has been chopped so it will have to be a smaller basket. I still want one though and will probably go with an idea something like your's. Great Job!!!

That came out amazing for conduit...I'm not all to familuar with conduit other then seeing it at stores like lowes and home depot. Mind saying exactly what kinda you got. Cause I'm thinking I'd like to build one myself. And I got a miller welder at home to weld one with. I'd rather weld it then use the screw on cupplings to hold it together. Welding seems
Like I'd be much sturdier

i used 1" EMT COnduit for the main frames top and bottom.. also for the front hoop and the bent pieces from the hoop.. as well as the bottom of the basket. than i used 3/8" EMT Conduit frp the risers in between the top and bottom part of the main frame...

Side Note:
i used some steel pipe to fit the pieces together to weld them. Such like the 90* pieces and the regular pieces. There is about a 2" long pieces inside the conduit to allign the pieces evenly.

i recommend not using flux core either.... and wear a resperator. because the conduit is galvanized and you shouldnt be breathing it. The paper ones are fine but get one with a little filter on the front of it.
