got some time today to work on my roof rack and lights

did you build the rack yourself or did you just buy it and make some extra modifications?

 

i bought it and then fabbed an extension for the middle. then came lights and such

What kind for rack is that if you don't mind me asking?

 

i have not put a tape on it but when i had it up there for a test fit there was about 4-6 inches on each side that had space. i i did not want to take up entire roof. i have some future plans for items up there

 

when i bought it it had a yakima fairing on it so i am assuming thats what it is. (BUT) i do know that Yakima and Ford were getting the same racks at one time. Ford had partnership at one time with them

Amazon has some good prices on racks. usually with free shipping too.

PS the oil stains under the XJ made me laugh a bit. My driveway has a black stripe in the middle lol

 

ya my zj has no oil leaks, but my xj leaks at the rear main. just to lazy to change. i loose about a quart every 2500 miles
