I'd say no for a stinger or hoop, it looks good as it is. And for paint I used that Rustoleum thick textured black paint. Put a few coats on and you'll never scratch through it, and its cheeper than Hurculiner.

Yeah I think I'm going to do a flat or semi smooth black. That texture grabs every little fiber when you wash it. I like the idea of the hoop. But when I get my bender back I will tac it on post a pic and see what you all think.
I built this bumper to have a smaller lip on the front and its still big so I think a little hoop (not stinger) would break up that big lip.

looks great. The lights really make it unique and keep your grille open for air. nice work

The fabrication looks great.

Tho, I'm not a fan of this bumper at all. For some reason it looks like a fat lip.

I think maybe I'd like it more if it had a small hoop or something. Idk.

Other than that. Good job.

Yeah his is really nice. Looks like he had access to a press break. I had to cut and weld everything.

Ha that's funny I think the other styles look like a fat lip. From the grille to the front of the bumper I am about 3 to 4 inches shorter. I almostvdid put a bar on it butvi think less is more some times.

You can always tack a hoop on then cut it off if you don't like it

I think I will hold off on the hoop. I am starting the top hat, roof rack, rock sliders and rear bumper. I think with the rack the simple bumper will look good.
