Default another snorkle

This is the snorkle that we put together. We used 3 inch exhaust pipe. The cap is a vent from home depot. We kept the original airbox tied into the side.

One of the cleanest looking home-brew snorkels I've seen. Very nice!

It does look nice. Could you describe the top a bit more. And what do you mean you kept the stock box? Double filtering the air coming in or just ran the snorkel out the other side?Just wondering

Sure. The cap is just a stock ventilation cap from Home Depot. Right off the shelf where all of the Air Ducting materials are. We did clean it and spray it with bed linner.

We pulled the stock filter box, cut off the original intake portion, covered and sealed all of the holes, punched a 3in hole in the side, put it back into the engine bay and ran a piece of 3" flex pipe up to where the snorkle came in through the fender.

The pipe is all welded. The angles beat us up a bit.

Theres threaded studs on the snorkle that mount up through the fenders. We used the rubber chair slideers from homedepot to counter any vibrations.

I'll be the first to say I'm not a fan of snorkels....BUT this looks soooo clean. I'm very impressed by the look. I would think all other snorkel owners should take notes on your install and attempt the same. Well done!
