Thats somewhat how im gonna build mine, except theres gonna be a 2x2 run down the very bottom of the rocker against the pinch seam, then the other 2x2 is gonna stick out a little flush along the bottom of the doors.

 

i wanna see a write up on someone cutting out the rockers and running a square tube instead... my pass rocker mashed in on the pinch weld with a stupid jack... think itll be easier to just cut it out... lol
