I think that just about everyone does. Look at the pics on JCR's website, but I'm sure someone here will post some too.

I think it would be a lot easier to make them out of square (no bending), then do round to tie them to your bumpers via fenders if you want.

If I remember correctly, I think COSXJFAN has 2x2 angle iron welded to the bottom of his rockers.

This is more like im talking about, i relize most of the rock slider structures are square but the part that angles up and runs about flush with the bottoms of the doors are bout all round... like below....

This here is more like what im gonna build..... except the ends are gonna be right opposite..

I made mine out of square, and rec. tube. I didn't bring them up tho, there just flat. I may bring them up in the future, but for now there fine. I don't like them sticking out to far any way. They tend to grab things when they do. (sorry the pix are so bad, I need a real camera!)

Heck i could make mine stick out a foot and wouldnt get caught on nothing lol considering i got 10" wide wheels and 14.50 boggers. No i wouldnt do that.. i just wanted to get a few idears, i like the cuttin the rocker out and doin like how you done, the sliders on the grand look good as well, though im not gonna go as far as to cut my rockers out. Hell theres no tellin how ill do it once i lay everything out and start arc' and spark'n.

I suggest you call the local fab shop/metal supplier and find out what it costs to buy a stick. Keep in mind most sticks come in 20'-22' lenghts. The local metal supplier my way charges a 1 to make cuts, so I have them cut my stuff to lengths, and yes they will cut on angles. Just cheaper and faster that way.

Last time I bought any rectangle tubing it was 2x4x3/16 and it was 175 for a 22' stick. Yeah it has been a few yrs since I needed a stick of tubing
