Default Finished Goods...

Well i finally got my home brew front bumper painted and on today ... Heres a few pics..

I used all half inch grade 8 case hardened bolts, inwhich both sides are like this and ties in with the steering box as well, on the inside of the unibody i plated it with 1/8" so the unibody wouldnt try an crush on me when i tightened the bolts down. Oh and also for those who didnt see this build, thats 1/2" plate for the main bracket you see..

Im kinda glad i decided not to put a stinger on it, to me it came out just how i wanted and im very particular so... all made out of 5/16" to 1/2" steel..

Let me know what you guys think... Now ive got my matching front and rear home brew bumpers built, time to lay out the build for all square tube rock sliders and hopefully sometime after christmas get the 6.5" LA kit ordered....

Did you go all the way back to the factory tow hook bracket hole. the one up by the ALT. If not I would be concerned. By the nice work.

Thanks guys for the comments, makes me even more satisfied in the out come of it! And i have no concern what so ever, i used every hole that was showing on the outside for extra strength, even some that werent even open completely, i drilled em on out so they could be. Besides, im the type of person that if im stuck and the guy pullin me out has back plum up to me and put the hammer down, then forget it. ill call someone with a winch or a wrecker. I dont take chance of someone ripping parts off my vehicle or messing up my frame by trying to get me out. Hell ill get the big come along or high lift jack out and do it myself lol...
