as far as i have planned, as long as she doesnt break down on the way home or i drive her into lake michigan before i leave, its looking like Dec 16th/17th me and my old man should be pulling back into town... i can do it that weekend... id rather knock her out so i/we have as much time as possible to finish it if theres any issues.... and you have the dimensions and all? or you mean you have the metal? if so how much is that gonna run me? (money isnt really an issue just need to know how much im gonna have to lie about to my GF to explain why she doesnt have an engagement ring yet lol)

I have the dimensions for the steel, no use getting a quote yet (last time I checked it was $133 for a 4x8 sheet of 3/16, divide that by 2 as I will go in half with you, that will be my steel for the rear bumper)
Awfully close to Christmas, I can squeeze a day or 2 to help you out. can't help you with an excuse for the ring though

Do you have any pics of how you tied in the D ring tabs?

I'm building this same bumper currently. Thanks!

Weld the bottom plate solid to the bumper mount. Then weld D-Rings on as close to bumper mounts on bottom plate. If you are concerned, with strength, don't be. I actually got to use mine Christmas Eve and it worked as intended

Look for the canopy of leaves hanging over the road. I pulled this guy from there in reverse through 2-2 1/2' of water/muck

Hi,
I just joined today maybe you could help me? Do you have the templates available? When I click on the link http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...e3f0a9ef98e48d
It says I'm not authorized. Can I get a copy of your plans or templates some how?
Thanks for your help,
Mickey
