Ok so I found out that my key for my CJ-5 was lost the other week. What can i do to get another one?????? or can I???

What year is it? A lot of the time you cans imply bring you VIN number, and some proof of ownership to the local dealer parts department and they can make you a key on the spot.

call a locksmith.... my locksmith can make a key for anything

I did call the locksmith and they can not make one because they do not have a door lock to make one off of. So they would have to replace the whole ignition swich on the dashm and that would be $450.

Get a repair manual and replace it yourself. I don't know if a Chiltons or Haynes would cover it, but certainly a factory shop manual would do. Look on ebay, you might find a CD version for cheap.

I got it out. Just had to unscrew the dang thing. Now need to get another one made from a blank. Thanks guys

Ended up just buying a nother ignition switch that came with keys so I do not need to get them done thank god.
