Funny thing about this "jeep wave". There should also be a "****** wave". I come across most jeepers who never wave to me in my old CJ3B or my 62 pickup when they are driving a newer wrangler or cherokee. I really dont care much but it seems funny. I tend to wave at most cool jeeps or ****** I see on the road. I guess its a "Jeep" thing huh.

I get some waves in my XJ but not as often as I would in a wrangler.

Around here most of the Jeep owners are soccer moms. They tend to look at you a little funny when you wave so it's apparent they don't get the jeep thing. Unless you wave at the lonely soccer mom and then you have a whole different "thing". There are a couple of actual jeep enthusiasts, not to many tricked out jeeps though. there is another Cherokee owner in town that does have a few mods such as the safari rack and brush guard.

Where I live, everyone waves at each other. Regardless of your type of vehicle. Southern thing I guess. When I'm traveling no one waves unless I'm driving or towing one of the cars. MOPAR thing I guess.

See too many college kids driving TJs.. and most Cherokees and Grands are used as commuters.. they tend not to care about the Jeep thing or even know of the Jeep wave.
very true!! you got it down!
