OK, the wife drives a 2007 Focus. the vent control selector id not working. only have defrost. pulled control panel off and see the cables run off somewhere not readily seen. how do i replace them? anyone else have this issue? what did you do?

 

two things, one...it sounds like the mode door is broken/jammed and 2) because it is an 07, the BCM(body control module) should have codes stored in it that will tell you where the problem is.

 

thanks. Aside from removing whatever has jammed it i need to replace the control **** as the wife said it turned really hard and then it "poped" and now rotates as it should so....
