H7 LED bulbs
Wanting to upgrade headlights in our 09 Touareg. The high beams are already great with halogens. The light reflected off the road signs actually hurts my eyes a bit. But the low beams which are projector are a little too warm in color for my liking. I’m going to start with the low beams since they’re the ones I’m least satisfied with. Also it’s been nice this winter to be able to turn the high beams on while the car warms up and it melts the ice/ snow off the headlight housings. So I’m wondering if anyone has had a good experience with h7 leds from amazon. Preferably a cheaper pair. Superbrightleds has some for $50 which isn’t bad either. So maybe I’ll just go with those. I guess I’d like to hear about any experience with h7’s no matter where they were purchased. I would like to only buy one pair and be content with them for a couple years. Also I don’t really want to spend much more than $50.

Also found this which I’m not sure if an led with higher output would be considered illegal.

And one more thing to add. I was considering upgraded halogens but my main concern is the short lifespan of them. So I guess I would also like to hear about experiences with halogen H7’s as well. If anyone has used halogens with whiter output than standard and also gotten a fair amount of longevity from them I would love to know.
