So what does everybody think of these? I'm looking at an 04 F-250 with the 6.0 130k on it for $10k. Whatty'all think? I've heard some bad things about the 6.0. I wanna find one with the 7.3

6.0 can be a great motor if proper work done delete the EGR it will reduce the EGTs by 100 to 200 replace the head studs and the 6.0 will be a great motor read this http://www.littlepowershop.com/60problems.html
Stay away from ford diesels in general if your a do it yourselfer. The 7.3 was a good motor but you can't beat a cummins... I'd take a dura ax before a power stroke . Nothing agaist ford just they diesels

I love the misinformation of the interwebs. The 6.0 left stock can be reliable, the key to keep em running good is maintenance they are finicky about being up kept. I've had mine for 160,000 miles and the only problems I've had were self inflicted because I have C.L.S.D. otherwise it's been great. Do they have issues sure but name one that don't.
And they can be a fun toy as well

no I don't normally do burnouts but this was done at the request of the photographer for the NHRDA
And they can be a fun toy as well
