Lately i have been fortunate enough to score three different sets of ZJ leather seats that are in great condition. Some just need a bit of cleaning.

Yesterday i went to pick up the new set for project OverlandZJ and saw yet another set that i couldnt let go to the crusher. After a few minutes i realized that it's the same color as my buds ZJ he just gave to his GF. So i grabbed them and headed over to his house for a few cold ones.

Heres his rig and the stock velour seating..



Started by removing the rears..



And installing the new seats..



Now the fronts...



And done...




The old seats were manual. the new are 6 way power. I took a set of jumper cables from the batt and confirmed all the motors work. Then we adjusted the seats to a close proximity to where they will be final. He will wire in a power lead through a relay and ground the seats over the weekend to finalize this swap.

These Pillowtop style ZJ seats are super comfy too.

Heres the set i just finished cleaning up this morning for the wife's Limited. I have her old stuff out and down at the curb but i kept the bases/motors as spares. Tomorrow i'll pull her carpet out, and put the one from my ZJ in hers as it's in better shape. I want a black carpet i saw at the yard and i'll go back for it. Hit them with the pressure washer/soap and they'll look good as new.





And here is the other set i grabbed yesterday for my ZJ project. Eventually both sets will get heated elements.
