Do I need any specialty tools to aid in my lift. Or is there a simple way to avoid that?

Simple hand tools are all that is needed. No need for spring compressors or anything like that. Make sure you use jack stands to support the vehicle.

Sounds simple. Just unbolt the shock and sway bar link and it should drop down enough correct? Cause I've been told different

It should be just that easy. Don't worry about dropping the swaybar as that might be difficult to line things back up again. For mine the rear was simple, but the front I changed the control arms at the same time. THat added some difficulty.

Does the bump stop housing just pop off? Or is it threaded in?

The bump stops just pop out, but the brackets bolt on.

You may need longer links. You do not want to drive it without links or links that are to short since that start damaging links, swaybars and brackets

I'm not gonna be flexing a whole lot so I'm not to worried to much about the links. If they break than I'll get longer ones

Yeah it wasn't that easy. I still had to compress the springs. Not very fun at all. But it's done my Jeep sits 2.25 inches higher. Now just waiting for my 31's to arrive.
