Wj long arm
Whats everyone running for long arms? I am in a stand still on what route with brand I want to go. Yes if I could afford it I would run clayton and be done. I don't have that. My options are maybe the rough country long arm upgrade or maybe something from Rusty's. Im looking at both cost and reliability for my WJ is a hunting/ romper. So I need to it to with stand a heavy right foot occasionally. Thanks all

I would agree. But I have heard and seen a ton of people hating on Rusty's. I have their upper adjustable control arms and I have not had a issue with them at all. I like them.

Yeah I have parts of a rough country on mine. I think I may have just got a screwed up kit. Im contemplating the wj long arm upgrade. Not sure though. I would really like clayton but too much.

Rough Country used to have low quality bushings that would wear out extremely fast, now they use the same Clevite brand bushings as almost all the other manufacturers use. You can't beat the price for a complete long arm kit, 1500 bucks is at least a grand cheaper than any other kit on the market. The only extra things I needed for my lift were longer brake hoses on the front, a smaller muffler to make room for the rear links, and a drop pitman arm to help with bump steer. The kit is a pain in the but to install and will take longer to install than they claim, totally worth it though. The only issue I have had isn't really the kit's fault. The upper control arm bracket on the right side of the front axle got tweaked and the stock bushing unseated and now clunks some times when I turn. I'm planning on changing out the stock bushings for the Johnny joint upgrade pretty soon.

Did not know they switched their joints. Totally agree on the price situation. Might have to jump on the one when I can. Thanks
