93 zj wont stay running
ok so im stumoed on this one. Ive got a 1993 zj, I bought it drove it around for the day then brought it home. It had a weak battery so i decided that i would change the battery. Got home shut it off changed the battery fired it up and went about 200 yards before it started to pop and jump and run real rough and finally died.
now it wont run unless you get it to 1500 rpm or higher, anything below and it may idle a few seconds but then it will start running rough and die. tried to tinker with it today and it wont run without the jumper cables on it so theres yet another issue. Any helps greatly appreciated.

Turn the key to the run position, press the gas pedal to the floor three times within five seconds, then start the engine.
