Default Lower control arm shims?

2000 xj, 3" aal lift with crappy driveline vibes. Lowered t case by 3/4". That worked on rear vibes and made front vibes calm down but still get them round 30mph. I know that some 3" lift kits come with control arms mine did not. My question is, has anyone ever shimmed the factory LCA's? Is it possible? What pitfalls are there if I try to do this? Will the vibe go away? And will the floating feeling in the steering go away? I know that's more than one question. Feel free to give me your thoughts on shimming lca's, and if your answer is " buy new lca's's" don't reply thanks. I'm just that cheap

Yes u can and its actually recommended. There's a tutorial floating somewhere here on how to make your own shims.

Are you sure that the bushings aren't the problem or u-joints? I ran a full 3" leaf/coil lift with stock arms for well over a year with only stock arms and a TC drop kit without issues.

Also, did you get an alignment after the lift? Certain it's not vibrations due to the toe being out as opposed to driveline vibes? The floaty feeling in the steering could also be alignment related.

Shims as in for the shoe adjustment? I just used a set of 5/16" nuts that just slipped over the threads mixed with washers.

I feel sure it's driveline related. Could be u joint but I'm not convinced. Didn't take any pinion angle measurements. Yes had it aligned toe in is good. Don't understand, thought cv front shaft was good with angles? What is the "shoe" alignment?

The piece between the lower control arm bracket and lower control arms with two studs sticking out of it. The shoe allows for some adjustment of the pinion angle.
