Hi all,

Reporting for duty in California - SF/East Bay. I have been handed down a fine 2000 XJ 2WD I6 4.0L. Thanks to these forums I have been able to diagnose and fix many problems! This is my first car and all of these are my first repairs on a vehicle i've ever done I've also just received my build sheet from Chrysler. See end of post.

Here is a list of the things I have managed to fix/do by scouring the internet and forums here. In the order that I can remember I fixed them in.

Whats the significance of the 8.25 axle?

Also, is it even worth off-roading/outfitting this jeep since its 2WD? I read the 2WD/4WD is "easy" if you find the similar year cherokee.

Just searched - there are a lot of threads going over this already.
