Default Will 15's fit 00 GC?

Quick question, guys. I just bought new Firestone Winterforce tires for my 97 ZJ and now the frame is swiss cheese! I bought a 00 Grand with 16's on it and I'm wondering if the factory alloy wheels from the 97 will fit the 00. I haven't actually picked up the OO so I can't try them yet. I think the bolt pattern is the same, but the brake calipers are larger and I not sure they will clear. Any ideas?

Sorry, The ZJ and WJ ('99-'04 grands) have different patterns. The WJ uses the larger 5x5 pattern.

Thanks, ol' blue. Damn, I thought this would be easy! Anyone want to buy a set of Firestone Winterforce 235/75R15's? These suckers only got 2K on them! I paid $100 bucks a piece for them!

Oh, well. You win a few, lose a few, drink a few beers, and go home to bed early.

Some Dodge Ram pick ups, (and lots of others I'm sure), had 15" wheels with the 5x5 bolt pattern. I know my '84 Ramcharger had the 5 x 4-3/4" pattern, that they changed in 'the late '80s to 5x5 because I tried to use some of those rims and they wouldn't fit. You should easily be able to get a set of used rims cheaper than getting a set of 16" tires.

Thanks again, Blue! I'd like to meet you and pick your brain over a few beers, but Tennessee is a long way from Upstate NY so quess it's a long distance relationship.

Keep on Jeepin' - Old Retired Fart.

P.S. I was told Ford rims will fit, but I think Ford uses 1/2" studs.

15"s will fit almost any car.

so will 14s, 13s, 12s

Already mentioned...but it's the bolt patterns that matter.

You might want to measure your brake rotors and/or drums to make sure the 15s will fit over them. I know a lot of the time you can upsize your rims but it can be hard to downsize em.
