Weird Reving Problem
I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and there is this weird thing that happens every time I come to a stop and then take a turn. The car seems to rev really high trying to shift gears and almost feels like it's going to stop. It takes about 3 or 4 seconds and then shifts up and drives normal. I just had the oil changed and told the mechanic there and he drove it and couldn't find anything. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Check your transmission fluid level. It MUST be checked in NEUTRAL, not park. It makes about a quart difference because the torque converter is not pressurized in park. If it's low, going around corners can slosh the fluid so the pump pickup starves and you pump air, resulting in clutch slippage.
