Default Unnormal worn tire

The right front tire of my 94' Grand Cherokee is worn unnormal. I think it's a problem with the alignment. The car goes slightly to the right when driving straight, but the steering wheel is not shaking.

I think I have to replace the tire and do the alignment. My mechanics told me to put the tire to the back and don't care about it. What do you think? I'm only driving the car for one year and don't want to spent too much money in it. If I replace the tire it will be $ 250 for all, I think. ($ 150 for the same brand of tire, installation, alignment)

If I was only going to keep it for a year, I'll put in on the back have the aligment checked and be done with it.. On the back that tire will last a lot longre

get out the tape measure and check your alignment.
if you put that tire on the rear, the tire you put back on the front will just do the same thing.

you need to correct the problem.

Just get the alignment done. Cause if you just move that bad tire to the back, the one you replace it with up front will most likely show the same wear. Tires cost more than an alignment.

It might not be an alignment issue...especially since its only on one side...check your ball joints on that side as this could be the culprit.

my jeep was out of line , and it wore one tire on its own just like this. Got an allignment, rotated the tire, fixed the problem. You probably need an alignment anyways.

OK, today I had some time to care for my car. The reason for the unnormal worn tire seems to be bad ball joints of the steering. The repair would cost 600 $, I checked two different repair shops. :/

I only want to drive the car til November, then I have to go back to my home country and sell the car. So my decision would be to leave everything as it is and maybe replace sometimes the worn tire. I think this would be the cheapest solution, not the best.

I rotated the tires and hope that the treat will last for the next month. Thanks for all your advice.
