Default Uconnect and my phone

I'm so happy that my 05 GC has uconnect. Yea, I know big deal right? Well recently I purchased andriod phone (smart phone) and was wondering if it's possible to play my music through the uconnect? I can use my uconnect to do what it suppose to do, but just wondering. Thanks.

Sadly its not possible. Uconnect does not support A2DP which means it can not receive the music to be played. IIRC the Uconnect only outputs audio to the front left speaker, so even if you could it would sound pretty bad.

Is there anyway then of being able to play music from my smart phone through my CG's audio system? My radio doesn't have a aux. jack. It's the kind that is a 6 disc player/am/fm. Any clue?

Thanks

Around $20 at Walmart, Radioshack, etc etc. In electronics just ask for one. Installation is easy. It plugs into the phone and you simply turn the radio on and choose a dead station. Let's say 89.9 is static, you set the transmitter to 89.9, put the radio on 89.9 and u got your music.

Its pretty easy stuff.

Alot of people don't do the FM thing because of the static. Is there another way of just adding an aux jack?

The "static" I mentioned is just how you find a dead station to use. You can't use the local rock station as its a live channel.

Its pretty much that or a new headunit
