Default U joint question

Hey all quick question,

I need a U joint where my rear driveshaft mates to my rear diff. Everywhere I look has a million u joints. But I have an 03 wj with selec-trac. Most places including rockauto.com have a lot of parts for non selec-trac vehicles. Does anyone know if those u joints will still fit or have a part number of one that will. BTW I prefer non greaseable joints, just a personal preference.

Thank you,
Nick

I am not sure what part number would work, but can you take measurements of the joint and ask a rep to help you select the correct part?

you want a 1310 series u-joint. select trac/quadra trac, etc. does not matter.

Just what I was going to say. Nothing special about Selectrac. The only difference would be 4.0 or 4.7.

Ok I couldn't imagine the difference but everywhere lists with select trac or without. See attached picture. I'll just look for a 1310 for my rear driveshaft at the rear diff.

Thanks everyone for your help

i didn't think there was a difference between the 4.0 and the 4.7, but if that's the case, the 4.7 usually came with a d44a and quadra trac, so possibly they are using the 1350 but have never heard of it.
4.0 and a d35 or 8.25 definitely used the 1310

Yeah I assumed the 4.7 used a 1330 or 1350 with the d44. I only want to crawl under the old girl once so wanted to see what you all thought. I'll get the 1310 and pray! It just got me thinking when everything said without selec trac.

Thanks
Nick

My 2000 4.0 with Selectrac uses a D35. I assumed all the V8s used the D44, but what do I know?

I think you're right Dave. The D44 was a V8 thing only. As far as I know. I just wasn't sure if the yoke was different with selec trac vs. quadra drive or quadra trac. What do I know, knowing jeep it could matter what gearing I have! Thanks for your help, I'll get a 1310 and hope it fits

Update: got a greaseable 1310 and threw it in. Fits like a charm. The only bad thing is I prefer sealed units. Oh well, thanks for the help everyone
