Default Transfer Box Confusion - Help Please

Hi All,
Recently there's been a lot of talk re Transfer Box overhauls and swaps.

So I have a stupid question - sorry in advance.

I have 1998 ~Grand Cherokee Ovis which has constant 4wd.
My question is, is it fitted with a viscous coupling in the transfer box?

I thought it was, but just read on another forum that it will not have a viscous coupling because it is constant 4wd.

I am so confused please help.

If I don't have a VC what do I have?

Thanks.

Markie.

Great...

Thanks in advance
