Welcome to CF!

You may get other answers, but my WJ gets along with 245/70R16s which are the oversize stock option and just about fill the wheelwell. It gets a little dicey when packed with snow because they rub against the liners when they are hard packed and I really would like a 2" budget boost, but I don't want to mess with my DD.

With the 2" lift, you can run 245/75R16s which are a little taller. Maybe even 265s, anything larger and you'll need more lift and/or wheel spacers. 245/70R16s are 29.5" tall and 265/75R16s are 31.5" tall. The LT265/75R16 is about the biggest metric 16" radial made.

JMHO however and the finished product depends on what you're looking for. My want was snow traction.
