Thermostats
I'm bringing a '98 5.9L back to life. I live in Arkansas, it's humid and hot in the summer. Any benefits to using the 180 degree high flow thermostat? Or should I stick to the OE 195 degree? A lot of stop and go, in town driving. Thanks.....

My opinion? Stick with the 195* stat. The computer controls are set up for a normal operating temp in the 195*-210* range for maximum fuel efficiency. Running lower than that makes the system think it's not warmed up yet. Some of the newer models will set a code for low temp.
