Was a padded vinyl roof ever an option? Top and hood were totally hammered in an hail storm and I am looking at my options here. Thanks

 

No to the option, but it has possibilities. Why not? Resale might be fun, though. Doesn't comprehensive insurance cover that? Let me guess, you don't have comp.

I would suggest just a vinyl covering rather than padding. My friend had a Chevy Monte Carlo with a padded vinyl top. Water got into the padding and rotted the sheet metal. You can fill the dents before you cover it.
