since i had the truck it hasnt been changed and last year during winter it worked fine just lil tight and notchy going in. what u guys recemend the jeep oem fluid or an aftermarket? and jus to be sure i fill it up till it poirs out of fill hole or certain amount?

Use ATF and fill it until it runs out the fill hole, but don't expect the shifting to be any easier after the change.

 

Hi, I use D3 over here in the UK as it's what is speced in the owners handbook and my comma oils guide.

 

It depends what Jeep your have, Older Jeeps 98 and under you can use ATF+4 or dextron 3. Newer Jeeps with quadra drive requires dealer only fluid.
