96 GC Limited 5.2L. Disconnected sway bar link from frame (bottom) and tried to take it off of the actual sway bar (top) but couldn't. The Link will spin but the bolt sticking out of the top of the sway bar does not move. Does this mean that the bolt broke off in the sway bar? The replacement link bolt spins with the link, thus making me believe that mine is broken.
Am I going to have to buy a whole new sway bar or am I wrong? Dont want to blow 150 bucks on something i dont need. Thanks

so after further investigation... i realized the top is like a tie rod. do i just have to hit it with a pickle fork? this might seem elementary to the veterans but any reply will save me from buying unnecessary parts. Thx
