Unhappy still not fixed :(

Ok so far i have replaced, cap & rotor, tps, crank sensor, cam sensor, fuel filter, checked the fuel pressure an was in spec, n'y problem is when driving down the highway is when i hit 2-2200 rpm it acts like a rev limiter or some times it cuts out for a few then comes back on... the whole rig dont die cause my gauges still work... also not throwing any codes, i do some times get a strong smell of fuel but it dont smoke, could it be the o2 sensor, was also tild could be the vss as it controls fuel. as well??? The rig is a 95 zj 5.2l...

The only thing I'd suggest is change your cat.
