is there an upgrade for the zj sterring box..??? I see lots of threads for the xj with the durango sterring box.

yes the durango steering box is an upgrade for ours too, i have one in mine

Like said above. I do know the ZJ box fits the XJ so it should work. I dont know what there is to gain by doing that though, care to elaborate?

its got a better ratio, basically steering is quicker lock to lock and the feel is much more responsive

Jnicewan I'm assuming you used the 98 -99 box without snowplow option like the other threads have made reference to.??? Also I read somewhere on some thread that at least one or two people have used a box from an S10, anybody have info on that. ???

my box is fine, but whenever I choose to upgrade, do these look the same exterior wise? I would buy a reman one and use my ZJ for a core

yes they are the same, same bolt holes and everything. bolts up in 15 mins if nothing is frozen
