Steering binding in 4FT and 2WD.
04 WJ Selectrac. Was informed that it's good practice to do a couple hundred miles in 4 Fulltime every month or so. Switched it at work yesterday before driving home. About 6 miles later, I pulled into the driveway, and noticed the steering was binding. About an hour later, I backed out of the driveway to go to dinner, and I still noticed it. About halfway to dinner, I put it back in 2wd, resigning myself to fool with it later. I got in the parking lot, and the steering was still binding up. I ended up backing into a parking spot. On the way home, I noticed no binding. I read nothing in the manual about reversing to get the axle or transfer case to disengage.
It's done similar things before, but I was always able to get it to disengage after a few seconds. Maybe it needs to be 'exercised'? Anyone have thoughts on this?

Yeah. I have to pull the shifter through 4H(Part time) to get to full time. Like I said, this isn't the first time it's happened. Maybe the tcase or axle actuator is acting sluggish from not being used regularly before I bought it. Or if something else is keeping it from working properly?
