Welcome to the forum.

Are you still having problems w/ the shifter cable?

What is the problem? Is the cable going to be replaced? Does the cable just need adjustment?

Been adjusted several times but always slips back out of adjustment

Is there any slop in the cable when in Park? If so, then the cable is improperly adjusted.

If the cable is intact, secure in the mount at the transmission, secure in the mount at the center console hump shifter, securely attached to the transmission lever. securely attached to the center console hump shifter and moves smoothly then replacement isn't required.
