I swapped in a 242 transfer case and replaced all the seals. I drove it for a couple weeks local and today drove it out of town about 75 miles one way. I noticed transfer case fluid all over the underside of my jeep. It looks to be coming from the rear output shaft seal. What would cause this newly installed seal to fail? Stumped on this one.
Thanks,
-Gary

Thanks, I didn't have any issues with it leaking until I drove it on the interstate.
How can I see if the bearing is bad? Also, the rear output is flush with the transfer case. How could it be installed incorrectly?
