well was getting the jeep all ready for a hunting trip. pulled in the garage to grease the front end and take another look at that bent lower control arm. while laying there I noticed fresh oil coming from the front. Well if the power steering line didn't decide to get a hole in it right in the middle. So no time to fix it. So I had to leave it home. Anyway me being the cheapo I took the hose to a farm supply and had them weld some new ends on and replace the hose. Only cost 40 bucks. Not sure what a whole new line would have cost but I am sure it would be lots more then that. Plus they did it right away.

When I grow up and get to be a big boy I want to have my own thread for mods. lol. Just givin ya a hard time. and im jealous. I want to start adding to my jeep. But the only mod I have done is rip off my bumper and new rims, and fixing to change the oil sending unit.

well I bought this thing started modding, then realized if I kept up at the rate I was going I could just go buy a new one. So now I am slowing up an bit and looking for better deals or maybe a donar, but I don't want a piece of junk sitting in my yard. Also its more fun modding then fixing. I think other then getting the lower part painted, my next project is going to be bumpers and a posi in the rear.

I would also like to lift it another inch or so. Although once those bumpers covers come off it may look better. The tires still look so close to rubbing on the front.

yes our prices are higher, but the real pain is that no one has anything. its always ordering and waiting. Plush south of the border there is so much more competion and selection when it comes to specialty stuff like modding jeeps. or trucks. gotta remember our whole population is 31million, that is less then california by it self I think.
