Probably should have started a new thread already. But here is the beast without that cladding. Now it looks like it wants to go in the mud and hills.

off easy on pretty easy but I would say you would have to by new clips. they seem to get brittle and some broke a bit.

The racks seem to be an add on for ski or snowboard stuff. I will be carrying kayaks on here next year.

I think I will paint my cladding black and see what it looks like. Then if I dont like it. It will come off.

I'm going to be painting from where it use to be down black.... I was having problems with mud collecting under it. And with all the salt they use here in Michigan I didn't want rust under there.

I am going to see how much linex wants to spray it. I may go the cheapy route and buy a roll on bed liner and do it myself. I mostly don't like the look of those little pins sticking out.

Dupo Color make spray on bed liner in a can.. About $8 per can but coats and works real well..
