Default Rough drive.

98 zj idles fine, starts fine. Once the jeep gets warm, it hesitates. I mean a noticable jump. Did complete tune up, tps, oxygen sensor. Any ideas??

Check the fuel pressure. Check engine light on?

I do have check engine light on. I had them scanned, says oss sensor on transfer case, and camshaft sensor (on dist.). Replaced them, still have problem.

If it did it before tune up, I would replace crank sensor (crank sensor, will throw cam sensor code) If it did after the tune up, make sure that u put copper core plugs in instead of plat, iridum, or any other ridiculious plugs. These motors are sensivtive, and have seen many a problems running anything other then copper plugs.

On a note bout the crank sensor, my jeep had the same prob. Sensor was getting heat soaked. BUT it could also be anything getting heat soaked, including coil or injectors.

What did you do to solve the heat problem?? I did notice it only starts acting weird once the truck gets good and warm, say 25mins or so.

Wow. That thing looks like a bear to take off. Anyone got any tricks for simple removal?

Im a little confused. does it hesitate to go into gear? you say it hesitates then you said that it jumps. can you clarify a little? what is the idle rpm?
Is it when you are already in gear and try to take off or is it actually when you put it into gear?
