Default Removing pins from PCM connectors. Tools/how to?

2005 grand Cherokee 5.7L

Hey guys, I’ve got an intermittent problem on my PCM with a connection on some pins. I’m having transmission problems, and by tapping on the connectors on the pcm I can make it better/worse.

looking to see if anyone knows the exact model of the connectors and what tool to order to pull the pins from the connector for inspection.

thanks!!

I don't know for sure, but the 04 uses a spike tool to move the tab in and the connector comes out the front. There is also a piece that comes off the back so you can access them. I have done lots of the pins on the 4.7 WJ with this tool. Available at NAPA. Before you do that, try a product called OxGuard. If you are having corrosion problems a little applied with a tooth pick in each hole and plug and unplug can work wonders. Saved some stuff on my rig with it

I believe this is the specialty tool that Mopar has for this when it comes to doing this in my '00 XJ. #6934

I have had to repin a couple of connectors.
I went to the highway department in town and got 1 blade from the round brushes on the side of a street sweeper.
Ground it down and thinned it out on my bench grinder.
Betting it would not work for this though.
