Default Rear left window

My problem, all the other windows work, I have replaced the master switch on the drivers side and have tested the switch that is on the rear door, now I am sure the motor works, as when I tell the window to go up on ether switch when i do so; all the lights dim just a small bit and I can hear it trying. But all of this does not happen when I flip it down. I guess it could be the motor....now when I flip the switch I do hear a (relay?) click when I flip up, but nothing when I flip down. The diagnose tree in the service Manuel is very non-specific and I am not sure if it is accurate, as it lead me to the main switch in the driver door, witch I replaced, still having the same problem. Also, I know it's all getting power as the switch does indeed light up. Thanks!

It sound like the motor is bad or the regulator is binding up.

Agreed, you can replace the whole unit for about 80 bucks at an auto parts store and its a pretty easy fix. Happened in my front drivers side but my window fell down and never came back up

Ok so its not the motor and nothing is binding up. I have found a 2nd working motor, I plugged it in with it not attached to the window(so it was free to move). And the motor went up the inch that was there. but it sill does not go down.
So It is not the drivers switch, the switch on the rear door, the motor or the railing for the window. Is there some relay that I am missing?

So its not the BCM, I tested it with a jeep identetical to mine that works. Maybe the is just a spanned wire. Does anyone know of the wire colors for the rear left window? Is this window on its own relay? if it is, where is it?

Hey Catsartcox, did you ever find a fix for this window issue? My 93 is doing the same thing.

I guest this is caused by an error in your wiring... Try to scan and see if every wire is tied up right...

Ive had same prob and a mechanic linend me out. I changed the master and slave switches on front doors. Nothing. I checked my motors with 12vdc from switch. Reverse polarity for reverse action. they worked fine. I changed the door switches on the back and still not working. So backbtobthe mechanic. Look in side the rubber boots in ur door jam. On that side of car. He said i would find a wire broken. Very common on GCLaredos. And he was right. I spliced the wire and made better protection to tge others and all is well again. Only delima is the rubber boot can be a pain to get back into place. Good luck. Keep me posted.
