Rear brake rotors 95 zj Grand Cherokee

Old fart with a wrench
They may be rust-welded to the axle flange. Use a block of wood and a hammer on the disc or apply heat. If you're replacing them, just use a big hammer. Remember you're got the parking brake shoes behind it. Try soaking it with PB Blaster around the studs. That's about all I've got.

Yea i trying to get them off since im parting the jeep and someone wants the full rear disc setup. I gave it a few good whacks with a hammer and wood and not even a budge. I guess ill try some heat next.

I agree most likely the parking brake. I just went through this on my ZJ. One rotor came off and all of the parking brake parts feel on ground in pieces. The other side wouldn't budge. Penetrating oil and crowbar took it off.

I think it was a combo of both rust and parking brake. Decided the rotor was pretty far gone anyways so a nice sledge hammer to rear of the rotor sent it flying off lol. Sometimes spending a little more money is worth the time u waste.
