Please help hole jeep slow wobble
Hi guys I'm new here and to the jeep cherokee. Just got a 1997 4.0 cherokee and at slow speeds 5mph to unknown the hole jeep wobbles side to side. If you look at bonnet you can see it and it the rear view mirror when driving 20mph or less or more the hole jeep wobbleing left to right not up and down and gets faster as you get faster but seems slow at 20mph any ideas what it could be? Tyres look ok and can't feel movement in any wheel. Could it be tracking?

What do you mean belt? Don't feel any play anywhere. Taken it back out and as I get to 30mph the hole car shakes but not the steering and to be honest the wobble as slower speed I can only describe to feel like a tyre is not straight or wheel is not straight but when I get to 30mph feels a bit like a flat spot on a tyre. Could it be a miss shaped tyre? Or could the tracking also do it? Thanks for all your help

A broken belt (steel belt separated) will cause a tire to be un round (misshaped)
You should be able to see it.
If it's really bad there may be fine steel wire sticking out and it can bite you!
Since you don't feel it in the steering wheel check the rear first.

Ok thank you. I am going to take it to a tyre place just up the road from me and get them to check all the tyres and suspention etc and hope it is just a tyre and nothing worse

If you've got steel wheels, check for a bent one. There could also be a rock stuck in the back of one.
