Hi all I'm new here, and I'm hoping to find a solution to my jeep issue. First of all I have an oil leak, that is causing my starter on my 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo to go out. Problem is I don't know where the leak is. As far as I can see, there are no oil spots on the ground if the jeep has been parked. My dad and I have looked everywhere and we cant pin point the leak at all. To me it looks like it might be coming from or somewhere near the oil filter. I know I need to fix the leak so I don't have to keep replacing the starter. Has anyone else here had the same problem? Thanks in advance =)

Common leaks in that area are the oil filter adapter o-rings and the oil pressure sending unit. Also if the oil looks like its dripping down from above the starter then maybe a valve cover gasket.
The oil filter adapter is the piece the oil filter screws onto. It can be removed and then there are o-rings on the adapter that can be replaced. The oil sending unit leaks are usually through the end and then it drips off the connector, unplug connector and check for oil residue or leak. The valve cover gasket can leak at any spot around the valve cover.
All of these leaks can be fixed pretty easy, and there are multiple write ups about them if needed. If you still can't find it then clean everything off real good and check again.
