My 2005 Laredo is leaking water from somewhere onto drivers side floorboard. Repair shop said boot for wiring harness near brake is leaking water from outside. What's strange is I would have sworn the water got worse one day running AC on maximum a while.

You guys seen this before?

 

Having the same issue on my wifes car. Same year make and model. It only happens when it pours rain for a while. Washing it has no effect. Couldn't see how the AC could have an effect as IIRC the the ac stuff is on the opposite side.

 

Used car dealer put a new rubber grommet around large wiring harness going in from engine compartment upper right above the brake. Pretty high up. And then they put sealer all over it. It got rid of about 90 % of the water. But not all. Still like you happens only with downpour. Not washing

Do you perhaps park your jeep uphill? We do.

I'm starting to think it could be the windshield
