2005 Cherokee Laredo water drivers side floor board

My 2005 Laredo is leaking water from somewhere onto drivers side floorboard. Repair shop said boot for wiring harness near brake is leaking water from outside. What's strange is I would have sworn the water got worse one day running AC on maximum a while.

You guys seen this before?

Used car dealer put a new rubber grommet around large wiring harness going in from engine compartment upper right above the brake. Pretty high up. And then they put sealer all over it. It got rid of about 90 % of the water. But not all. Still like you happens only with downpour. Not washing

Do you perhaps park your jeep uphill? We do.

I'm starting to think it could be the windshield
